1st Runner up: Angus, Raymond, Julia, Daniel
First team was from Quebec, we were first from Ontario!
Max, Justin F, Vanessa and Ada were also representing Ontario.

Seneca Hill Alumni in J. B. Tyrell (Daniel, Cindy and Yikang) came first in the K-9 section.

Girls section

Top girls Angela (G.4) and Joey (G.6) played for the school team.

Alumni Isamel came first in G.5.

The gross income of May 3 Sunday tournament will be donated to Unicef Canada. Please participate.

26 players came to the tournament today. Cullen, Tiffany, Levon and Hovenes could not make it but donate one day tournament fee. We have a total of $300 to donate to UNICEF for the support of Nepal Earthquake Emergency.

Participants of the games today were Parsa, Sina, Griffin, Oliver, Sean, Wing, Angela, Harry L, Ray L, Petru, Ronith, Anuj, Eric N, Chen, Sarah, Charlie, Daniel T, Terra, Ethan, Kyle T, Ray W, William, Brent, Kyle C, Ryan and Shan. Thank you all for your support.

Ontario Chess Challenge Winners

Congrats to Joey Zhong (a national master) who came first in the Ontario Chess Challenge, Grade 9. He is going to play in the national tournament, Canadian Chess Challenge in Quebec City on May 17 and 18. Joey was a Seneca Hill Chess students and now a Seneca Hill Chess Club regular supply teacher. We wish Joey all the best in the CCC!
