Online tournaments
Players are not allowed to have any assistance from including but not limited to other people, software and/or computers. Parents, please make sure the player has no access to cell phones or other devices during the game.
Online tournament.
The tournament director has the right to request participants to sign in our Google Meet with their camera on and share their screen.
We will review suspicious games. Participants can also report suspicious games to lichess.org directly as soon as possible.
The tournament director reserves the right of final explanation.
We are now taking registration of the 2020-2021 online chess programs.
For the online classes, we will keep our small instructional group format, with a teacher students ratio of 1:6. (Sometimes one or two more or less.)
There are one hour instruction and one hour tournament game and puzzle solving in each class.
All programs are two consecutive hours per week.
Session 1: September 22/24/26 (Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday) to February 2/4/6 (Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday) – 15 weeks
—–No class on October 6/8/10 and December 15 to January 9
Session 2: February 16/18/20 to June 15/17/19 – 15 weeks
—– No class on March 16/18/20, March 30/April 1/3 and May 18/20/22
Tuesday and Thursday – 4:00-6:00
Saturday – 1:30-3:30, 2:30-4:30 and 3:30-5:30
Seneca Hill Chess August online program 2020
Number of Classes: 6 +3 optional/makeup classes.
Dates: Saturday August 8 to Thursday August 27
Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (Students choose any two days of the week, can join to the third day as a makeup or bonus class.
Time: 2:00-3:00 or 3:00-4:00 assigned, depends on the registrations and your level.
Level: we will place you in a group of students with similar levels.
Fee: $100, no prorated. There is no credit or refund for missed classes.
All the students in this session get a free/optional entry to the CMA August 23 tournament. Details will be emailed to you later.

Maximum per class: 6 students. First come first served.
Days: You can choose both Thursdays and Saturdays, then we will give you two different teachers, so that you learn something different. You also have a discount of $30.

Add $30, you can play free in all 5 summer tournaments. Each tournament is $15. Games are CMA rated.
Saturday’s from June 20 to July 18 and Weekday’s June 22-26, July 6-10, July 13-17 and July 20-24.
Please don’t pay any fees yet. Many of you still have a credit with us.
