2020-2021 3 hour program for more experienced players
2020-2021 2 hour program for beginners
We offer effective and inspiring lessons and training to players of all levels at St. Timothy Catholic School.
Address: 25 Rochelle Crescent, North York, ON M2J 1Y3.
- 28 classes for all programs, and 2 major tournament qualifiers (November 30, 2019 and April 18, 2020) for the 3 hour program.
- 50-60 minute chess lessons with a focus on small groups of students (maximum 6)
- 1- or 2-hour rated games with awards (CFC regular rated games for selected players, 60 mins SD)
- problem solving and practice
- weekly homework
- snacks and drinks
This program is run on Saturdays.
Time:
– 2:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. for beginners.
– 1:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. for more experienced players.
– 2:30p.m. to 5:30p.m. for more experienced players.
– 2:30p.m. to 5:30p.m. for selected players.
2 sessions in 2020-2021 – 28 (plus 2 for the 3 hour program) Saturdays
Session 1: September 26 to February 6 – 15 Saturdays
—–No class on October 10 and December 19, 26 and January 2, 9 (plus December 12 for the 2 hour program)
Session 2: February 13 to June 19 – 15 Saturdays
—– No class on February 20, March 20, April 3 and May 22 (plus May 15 for the 2 hour program)
