Sections:
Under 8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 Open and Girls
Sections with fewer than 12 players may be combined at the TD’s discretion.
Play up is allowed. Girls can choose to play in open or girl section if any.
Age: as of January 1, 2020.
Format:
5 round Swiss pairings. Time control: 25 minutes per player.
Half point bye allowed in round 1. Games are CFC Active rated.
Schedule:
Posting of pairings onsite: 11:40a.m.
Rounds 1-5: 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 or earlier. Default time is 25 minutes.
Awards After round 5
If a player doesn’t show up at the start time of the first round (12:00), the clock will be started. The game will be rated. If the player doesn’t show up at the end of the first round, he/she will be withdrawn from the tournament.

Grand Prix – Details
In GP1 to 5, players score 2.5, 3, 3.5 will receive $5 Grand Prix money and 4, 4.5, 5 will receive $10 Grand Prix money. This money can be used to pay for any Seneca Hill Grand Prix tournaments in 2019-2020. We accept cash or e-transfer only if you are using this money. To see your GP money balance, please click here. Entry fee and registration:

$35 paid by November 10/March 29/ April 26, 2019
$45 paid by November 28/ April 16/May 14
$55 register onsite (11:00-11:15a.m.), only if spot is available.
