Seneca Hill Chess Club is running a Canadian Youth Chess Championship qualifier on two days:
March 31 (U18, U16, U14 . U12, U10, U8- Boys and Girls combined)
April 7 (U12, U10, U8 – Boys and girls combined).

There is a further $5 discount for current Seneca Hill Chess Club students. This discount applies to pre-pay option only.
That means SH students (Monday at TM, Thursday at SH and all the students at Hillcrest) pay $20 if the fee is paid before March 24.

Canadian Youth Chess Championships – North York Qualifier (NYYCC 2014)
This is a qualifying tournament for the Canadian Youth Chess Championships 2014.
Players achieving a score 2.5 or better will qualify to participate in the 2014 CYCC in Montreal, sponsored by Chess Federation of Canada (Subject to approval by the junior coordinator). The 12 CYCC Champions will be on Team Canada as the official Canadian representatives to the 2014 World Youth Chess Championships in Durban, South Africa.
Sunday, March 30, 2014 Sections: U12, U14, U16 and U18 (Boys and Girls combined)
Sunday, April 6 , 2014 Sections: U8, U10 (Boys and Girls combined)
Age as of January 1, 2014
Sections with fewer than 6 players may be combined at the TD’s discretion.
There are two separate qualifiers for U8, U10, and U12 at Oriole
March 31 -added due to the overwhelming registrations on April 7
April 7
Any already qualified players are allowed to play in these qualifiers. Players participating in both March 31 and April 7 qualifiers are required to submit two separate entry forms.
Attention, players who have submitted the entry for April 7, you should have received an email.
If you decide to stick with April 7, you don’t have to do anything.
