In 2022-2023, there are 4 tournaments in our Grand Prix series, and a player can play and win in any number of these 4 tournaments..
The best 3 tournament scores will be used for the computation of the Grand Prix results.

We are now taking registration of the 2021 summer online chess programs.

All programs are two consecutive hours per week.
There are one hour instruction and one hour tournament game and guided puzzle solving in each class.

Online tournaments
Players are not allowed to have any assistance from including but not limited to other people, software and/or computers. Parents, please make sure the player has no access to cell phones or other devices during the game.

The tournament director has the right to request participants to sign in our Google Meet with their camera on and share their screen.
We will review suspicious games. Participants can also report suspicious games to lichess.org directly as soon as possible.
The tournament director reserves the right of final explanation.
Seneca Hill Chess Sunday tournaments
Schedule for 2021: January 24, February 21, March 14, April 4 (OCC qualifier), May 9 (OCC qualifier), June 6, July 11, August 8.
Start time: 1:00. (to approximately 5:00) Q and A room opens at 12:00.
Sections: By CMA rating (April 4 and May 9 – OCC qualifier, K-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-12)
Rounds: 5
Time control: 15 minutes plus 5 seconds.
Where: on lichess.org Please sign up (sign in – register) for a free lichess.org account and try a couple games before the tournament.
Fee: $10 for returning players, $15 if this is your first online Sunday tournament you sign up with SHC.
Prize: Free entry for the next tournament for top three and a trophy for the champion of each section. (August 8 – last tournament, second place and third place will get medals instead.)
