There are two separate qualifiers for U8, U10, and U12 at Oriole
March 31 -added due to the overwhelming registrations on April 7
April 7
Any already qualified players are allowed to play in these qualifiers. Players participating in both March 31 and April 7 qualifiers are required to submit two separate entry forms.
Attention, players who have submitted the entry for April 7, you should have received an email.
If you decide to stick with April 7, you don’t have to do anything.
If you would like to add March 31 or change the day, please fill this out.

Congratulations to Jonathan winning the First Grand Prix on November 11. There were 44 players in U8 group. He won all five games.
Many of our club members also had good results. Please see link. U8 section is at the bottom of the list.
Many of our friends, OGCC guests and players are playing in the international tournaments in November.

Seneca Hill Chess Club will be recognizing some participants of the World Youth Chess Championship held in Maribor, Slovenia, from November 7 to 19, 2012.

Chess for Children School in Swansea Town Hall since 1996 is a community based school. Their teachers, Goran Milicevic and Natalia Khoudgarian hold international titles and receive enthusiastic reviews from their students.
Their fall program starts on October 13.

One of our sponsorship recipients, Aman Hambleton is playing at the World Junior Chess Championship 2012 in Athens now (August 4 to 11).

Updated August 15: Congrats to Aman who won an IM norm in the WJCC!
Updated October 20: Congrats to Aman again for winning his second IM norm in the SPICE Cup 2012!
Update November 25, 2012. Congrats to Aman. He did incredibly well in the UNAM tournament: undefeated, 4.5 out to 6 against Grandmasters, earned his IM title and first GM norm! Aman came third. All other top ten are Grandmasters!
